Pumpkin Update
June 21, 2008Paris
June 19, 2008Last weekend we spent a four wonderful days in Paris for Tara and Jan’s wedding. We stayed in the beautiful Villa Escudier, with most of the wedding party. We had great fun, and met a lot of lovely people, especially the Norwegians!
Here are some of the best pics from the wedding…
The gang sitting on the steps of the hotel.
Poppa and the children enjoying the garden.
Callum and Charlotte all dressed up for the wedding.
At the church Chris walked Tara down the aisle.
The happy couple after the ceremony (complete with piper!).
The following day there was a picnic at the hotel. Here are Callum and Charlotte with some of their French cousins.
All in all, a great wedding!
We managed to fit in quite a lot of sight seeing and took the children to most of the obvious places. (see tourist photos here) Jim Morrison’s grave will have to wait until they are older in order to really appreciate the significance!
The South of England Show
June 8, 2008We had an early start on Saturday morning as we headed over to Ardingly for the South of England Show. Vic had a haircut booked (looks lovely by the way!) so I took the children and met up with our friends Tim and Fiona, and their two children Daisy and Sam.
Callum and Charlotte tested quite a few tractors/lawnmowers/diggers, before they decided they liked this one the best!
Here Daisy and Callum are waving at a one-man-band as he walked by.
This time they are all clapping the show jumpers.
Then it was on to watch some dancin’. Although we don’t look that impressed here, it was actually very good.
Ahhhh………..
Then last night, once the children were asleep, we had a BBQ with Bee, Simon, Nina, Kieron and Regi. A great night! (taken with the automatic timer, hence the reason we are all at the bottom of the shot!)
One Weekend, Two Parties and a New Baby
June 1, 2008Saturday morning we paid a visit to our friends Kieron and Regi and their brand new baby Oliver. A beautiful, healthy and very alert little fella!
That afternoon both Callum and Charlotte dressed up for Phoebe’s birthday. Here is Charlotte dressed as a ladybird/fairy (I kid you not!). Callum can be seen in the background dressed as a knight of the realm.
And today Callum and Pheobe attended Daisy’s party. This time Callum dressed as a pirate!
