Pasta and the Palace

March 26, 2007

As Vic was working on Sunday I had a day with the children which was great fun. Callum is obsessed with all things Aladdin at the moment and pointed out a picture in his book of the palace. It struck me that there are great similarities with our own Royal Pavilion, so I took the two of them for a look round. Callum was very excited to be visiting a palace. We shot round in under half an hour as the children do not have a great interest in the history of it yet!!!

We then had a very civilised lunch at an italian in the lanes which was great fun!

Mothers Day

March 22, 2007

On Sunday we headed over to Wakehurst Place with a picnic. We also took Callum’s friend Billy and the boys enjoyed hacking around the grounds……………

……………. and playing in the trees.

Neither one was keen to try and climb up this one though!

When we got home we had a quick visit to the playground. It was absolutely freezing cold, but I think Charlotte was nice and toasty!

Charlotte & Cora

March 12, 2007

Charlotte had a friend over on Saturday and they hung out on at the beach. Looks like they had fun!

Still No Pot of Gold

March 5, 2007

Chris and I played a few holes of golf on Saturday which, for me, was the first time I had hit a golf ball for ages. In fact, early in the round I actually hit very few!!!!!

This is a picture, taken on my phone, is from the tee box of the 2nd (or 11th if you’re going round again) looking down the fairway. In a truly mystical way, the rainbow is pointing down to almost exactly where my drive landed, never mind!!!!

On Sunday we walked down to Loch Leven and sat in the new bird hide and watched mainly swans flying into a very strong head wind.

More pictures from the weekend to follow……

Lion’s Balls

March 3, 2007

Vic, Callum and Charlotte have been in Milnathorte since Monday and I joined them late on Thursday night.

It looks like they have been very good!

I don’t think Charlotte is 100% sure of all these balls!

Callum’s new best friend is a 1.5x life size green lion

Maybe we’ll try and cultivate one in our back garden………..
